The New Me
I am so excited, because I have been on this diet for about a week. It's very easy to stick to, and my activity level has increased. Dramatically. I guess you don't realize how much you actually move. As a stay at home mom, without leaving the house, and barely making it upstairs, so in about 1,000 sq. feet- I am walking a bit over 5 miles a day. Amazing. My husband was stunned. I guess he thinks I secretly do sit on the couch and eat bon bons! I started adding movement to my usual day. I am strength training about 4 days a week, and I sneak in a bit of cardio on most days. It's good to finally take time for myself. And the house hasn't fallen down. I have more energy and everything seems to fall into place. Maybe "The Secret" is right. The Rosicrucians have been saying the same damn thing for years.
